Xing Wang, Associate Professor of Bionengineering, and Hyunjoon Kong, Robert W. Schaefer Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, were named to the 2026 class of senior members by the National Academy of Inventors.

Covey is among 126 early career research scientists to receive a Sloan Foundation Fellowship from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. He works to answer key questions in quantum physics, quantum communications and quantum information.
